The session
How long is a session?
Sessions run for 45 to 60 minutes.
Where do sessions take place?
Anywhere you love: the beach, a bush walk, your backyard, a local park. We plan the location together.
What should we wear?
Whatever you feel good in. There’s no need for matching outfits or brand new clothes. Stick to soft, neutral tones and avoid large logos.
What if my kids are having a meltdown?
We roll with it. Tantrums, tears, and snack breaks are all part of family life. Some of the best photos come from the messy, real moments. We never force anything.
Can I be in the photos with my pet?
Yes, and we’d recommend it. Some of the best images are the ones of you and your pet together.
Which animals do you photograph?
Dogs, horses, rabbits. If it has a personality, we can photograph it.
Photos and pricing
How much does a session cost?
Get in touch for pricing. The session fee covers planning, the session, and professional editing, and is credited towards your collection. Each collection includes your digital images plus a credit towards prints, wall art and albums. Payment plans available.
What if I don’t love any of the photos?
You only pay for what you love. If nothing grabs you at your design consultation, you don’t spend a cent beyond the session fee.

Family and pet photography across New Zealand.
